Sterntaucher Ei
Sterntaucher kommen in den Wintermonaten regelmäßig in der Nordsee und westlichen Ostsee vor. Doch brütend wird man sie hier nie sehen. Dafür ziehen die Tiere im späten Frühling an kleinere Gewässer in der Tundra.
Sterntaucher bauen ihre Nester aus Pflanzenmaterial ufernah oder auf kleinen Inseln. Sie legen ein bis drei, meistens zwei, Eier, die dann etwa einen Monat lang bebrütet werden.

Red-throated loon egg
Red-throated loons are regularly found in the North Sea and western Baltic Sea during the winter months. However, you will never see them breeding here. Instead, the animals move to smaller bodies of water in the tundra in late spring.
Red-throated loons build their nests from plant material near the shore or on small islands. They lay one to three, usually two, eggs, which are then incubated for about a month.
